PayPalFor Decor or Collection Only 16.5” seat, Old tin-bound stirrups, laced fenders, wool is in good condition not falling apart or shedding, typical style of saddle for the teen’s, obviously shows the wear and care of having to surviving the great depression, WWII, and a few decades more. $150
Great color and mystique to this saddle; you can see a few repairs obviously done at different times and by different people, adds a ton of character and a story you can see and feel. The wear, repairs, and overall antique design add immensely to showcasing the amount of life this saddle likely lived, and how many rough miles it was ridden through in its lifetime, and how loved and necessary it was to likely multiple people’s livelihoods within the last 110 years. The wooden tree that’s encased within a rawhide skin is broken, but can still be displayed and interacted with as a really interesting antique and a unique piece of American history. Fun for kids to play on, still safe to use and display as furniture if secured properly.
