ZelleThis has been a great bike for commuting and bicycle travel. It’s perfect for a daily drive commuter, travel companion, gravel grinder, etc. It has seen some adventures, been well cared for, and is ready for pavement, gravel, and beyond. Pedals and saddle on bike are not included, but I’m happy to swap them for the other pedals and saddle pictured if you would like. The large bottle cage on down tube is not included either. Tannus Armour inserts in tires provide the best flat protection I’ve ever encountered. Have not had a flat since installing them 6 years ago. This bike was ridden with different handlebars for most of its life, so the shifters have seen much less wear. Bar tape is brand new.
Components Shimano Alivio group set with Sora integrated shift levers. Kenda gravel king tires (good tread life but sidewalls are starting to show some wear) Tannus Armour inserts (bombproof) Bontrager rear rack TRP spyre mechanical disc brakes 160mm rotors 3x9 alivio drivetrain Front and rear fenders Headset and bottom bracket have been replaced within the last 3 years I had built and ridden a different front wheel for most of its life as well, so the front wheel is basically brand new. If desired, I can include the bontrager saddle that came with the bike and wellgo hybrid pedals.
This frame has a slight quirk/manufacturing error. Without the little hose clamp that is secured underneath the seat clamp bolt, the frame cracks behind the seat collar after about 800 miles of riding. I got three frames as replacements on warranty. The frame is steel so I had it welded to fix it, I gave the second frame to a friend in need, and the third has been going strong (with the addition of the hose clamp) ever since. The point is, I’ve loved the frame. It just needs some support under the seat clamp to prevent fracture. So don’t remove that piece.
