Cutting out about 2000 sq ft this coming weekend. The grass is in ok shape in spots but it is not void of weeds and crab grass. You could re-sod with it if you want but I would probably not recommend it. It does work great for making compost piles and will break down surpising well in 12 months with minimal effort to produce great soil for a garden or planter beds.
