It can make as much as 85 pounds in a 24-hour period in ideal conditions, and its built-in bin can house a maximum of 26 pounds. The bin is well-lit to ease ice retrieval; key machine components are treated by an antimicrobial agent to optimize sanitation. To streamline operation and maximize performance, this 14 7⁄8-inch-wide by 22 3⁄4-inch-deep by 34 3⁄8-inch-high unit features a control panel that gives power status updates, water level alerts, and cleaning reminders.
Durable enough to support rigorous outdoor use, the Scotsman SCN60GA-1SU undercounter ice machine's cabinet is made of rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Its front panel can be customized with a wood panel (sold separately) to match surrounding cabinetry or decorative schemes. This air-cooled unit uses R-134A refrigerant and should be installed near a floor drain that can accept runoff because it uses a simple gravity drain.
