PayPalI have a pair of blue and white parakeets. I purchased them in 2021 when they were 4-8 months old, was told they have been together since they were eggs. Never separated.
I purchased them as classroom pets and they really were wonderful for my 2nd grade. I would like them to be back in a classroom where children could enjoy them. They are alert and engaged all day. They can get a little noisy but not bad. Maintenance is minimal.
These two beautiful birds are not hand tamed. They prefer their cage to being outside. Wings are not clipped.
The birds come in their home, an Omlet Geo cage. Cage is state of the art, self feeding and watering, with a great tripod stand and pink night cover.
I got these birds after looking at all kinds of classroom pets, from guinea pigs and bunnies to snakes and spiders. I had aquariums and they were fine, but these girls are a lot more fun. Easy to take home over weekends. Fun to have over the summer. Easy to clean, no smell.
