Beautifully restored 1900 Steinway & Sons Model A 6' grand piano, a remarkable instrument that has undergone a complete restoration inside and out. This piano showcases a stunning natural wood finish, chosen specifically to highlight the extraordinary original craftsmanship.
The cabinet refinishing beautifully reveals the rich grain of the wood, complemented by elegant legs and classic Steinway design.
Inside the piano, the instrument was fully rebuilt with all new components, including a completely restored action with new hammers, shanks, wippens, dampers, keys, bushings, strings, and tuning pins. The cast iron plate has been refinished, and every detail has been carefully executed to deliver a performance that feels and sounds like new.
My skilled piano artisans have completed the following:
- Thorough cleaning
- New strings
- Metal hardware replated
- New hammers, shanks, wippens, dampers
- New keys
- New bushings and tuning pins
- Action Components were cleaned, aligned, and lubricated, and also tightened to ensure proper function.
- Refinished plate

- Final Prep and Tuning
- Voicing
- Pitch-raise
