Lolo is a beautiful 3 yr old, turning 4 this summer Quarter-Arabian. 15 Hands. Easy to catch and meets you in the field. She’s had over 100 rides and she is soo smooth. She’s very soft in the face and gentle, but don’t let this girl fool you she has got some serious speed. I have ridden her bareback and saddled, and with a hack as well as a bit. She rides great in a hack, but if you let her open up, you’ll need a bit to engage the brakes. She she’ll hold a trot and a lope for you until you ask her to stop. You can pick up all of her feet, and while she is a little bit ‘watchy’, she is willing to please. I think a lot of that is just because of her age.
Only issue we’ve been working on is high sensitivity at her poll. You can put on a halter fine, but sliding the crown piece of the bridle over her ears is still an issue.
The majority of work that I do on my ranch is equine assisted therapy, and while she has done great, she deserves to use her skills. She has a lot of speed and she really really wants to go. Her breed and her brain deserve more work than what I am giving her. She is so smart and is ready to go in any direction you ask of her. She has a beautiful walk on a lead and would make an absolutely beautiful show horse.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t papered. Originally born at GRK farms
