VenmoPre-Gibson Mesa Boogie Nomad (Happy?) 45 1x12 combowith original Black Shadow (C90) speaker, along with factory footswitch, % Joe’s Guitars in Reno, Nevada 1999 or so.
To oversimplify this combo: 6 preamps like the MK V (with 9), includes the MK IIc, all with EQ like a MK IV: so very sensitive but infinite potential to cover every tone on the sane side of Rectifiers and 5150 territory. With a good pedal you can have that too. There are lots of web tone samples to listen and learn from. I am 81+ and both shoulders rebuilt recently and have to give up my favorite (heavy) toys. I can’t tell you all the amps I have used over 65 years of playing guitar, but this amp on EXTREME is supremely the loudest of all, including the years gigging with 2 Single Showman amps on 10, over 2 JBL 15 cabs, before sound reinforcement was even thought of…….please? not in your bedroom or apartment!
Calzone Road case available.
Spare tube set possible.
Replaced knobs on the front panel: white lines on black knobs = visible settings, over $100 invested............in knobs.
Each channel has a reverb setting level on the back panel.
Line out. Effects loop. Recommend a EQ pedal.
