1981 Honda XL500 titled for street. Overall, the bike is in good shape. I have owned it for a few years now and it hasn’t been ridden much. I intended to restore it but couldn’t find the time. It runs excellent, leaks a little oil from the top case like most of these old bikes do. When it has been sitting it will smoke slightly when first started but does not smoke otherwise. Odometer shows 6,216 miles. There is some black paint overspray in places, it was like that when I got it. Small dent in the left side of the tank and the rear tire goes flat. Tires have good tread, shifts smooth, brakes well, the bike has a lot of power. Doesn’t need much to get back on the road or could be used as a dirt bike.
