Do you enjoy astrophotography, or are you interested in learning? Join our small team operating a dual telescope system in a dark sky, remote observatory. Three team members pay for the pier rental and operate and maintain the system. The hardware is owned by myself and another team member. The pier fee for each of the three team members is currently $234 per month plus costs associated with maintenance and operation (typically about $150 per year.) The system includes a PlaneWave 12.5in CDK and a Williams Optics FLT-91 telescope on an Astrophysics 1100GTO mount with absolute encoders. It is set up with a QHY600L camera and Chroma filters on the CDK with an ASI2600MM on the Williams Optics. Both have LRGB and Ha, OIII, and SII filters.
