ApplePaySelling a Stokermatic Superheater Automatic Coal Furnace w/ Over-fire Air Jet that use to heat an 850 sqft shop at the house we bought. The previous owner informed us that it worked a few years ago, but never fired it up after their father passed. I don’t know much about them and didn’t want to start a fire, so I never tried firing it up either.
Can’t find much info online, but from what I’ve gathered, it is an 85k to 100k btu furnace with 6” flue, thermostat controlled, 110v, and has a 240lb hopper capacity.
This thing is a beast! Probably weighs roughly 500lbs loaded with coal. So you’ll need help loading it for sure. It will also include a 55gal drum of coal as well (if you want it).
Asking $1500 OBO. Feel free to ask any questions. I’ll answer them the best I can.
