This vintage plush is a Rushton Star Creation Crying Bear, a collectible toy originally produced in the 1950s. These dolls are well-known for their unique "nursery kitsch" aesthetic, featuring a distinctive rubber face with exaggerated emotional expressions, such as this one's sad, crying face with molded tears. The Rushton Company produced this bear in the 1950s and it is often referred to by collectors as the "Crying Bear" or "Scrappy Bear". These are considered rare and highly sought after by vintage toy collectors. This bear is 17 inches tall and has the wear you’d expect from a 70-year-old toy.
