The B & J Machine P500Pro Universal sight tool is designed to remove, install and adjust front and rear dovetail sights on semi-automatic handguns. The most important improvement over the Standard Universal tool is the newly designed pusher tips. The Pro Universal pushers use hardened steel tips and a guide to prevent rotation, which can mar the sight. Two pushers are included: one with a squared end for standard sights, and one with an angled end to push against tapered sights, such as those found on Glock handguns. Another improvement over the original tool is a two position hold down clamp which speeds up setup and prevents the slide from lifting or twisting. The newly added end plate adds strength as well as keeping the slide from shifting.
