Since arriving, he has been making great progress and continues to improve with handling and socialization. Staff have observed that Chico is very energetic and full of life. He’s still learning how to navigate interactions, but he’s been getting more comfortable with people and showing positive growth every day. He has shown some interest in other dogs, and with proper introductions, he may enjoy canine companionship. Our medical team has also taken great care of Chico, including repairing a cherry eye and an umbilical hernia, helping set him up for a healthier future. Chico would benefit from a home that can provide structure, consistency, and continued socialization to help him keep building confidence and manners.
