VenmoLayens insulated horizontal hive with frame that is painted. Hive has 20 deep frames, established bee colony, brood, pollen and honey. Setting up a hive like this would cost almost $1k for the hive, bees, an material to build the stand. This comes with the assembled stand, and is already painted with base coat and two coats of outdoor paint. The hive is decorated so if you have multiple hives the bees could more easily recognize which one is theirs.
The frames have foundation added already so you will not need to do that. Additionally there are 10-16 frames of brood, honey and pollen(at least 10 in need to look and see how full the others are). If you are looking to get started with bees this spring, this would make it very simple. These bees are not aggressive and already survived the winter. They are building queen cells and are thriving and getting ready to naturally spit. It is hard to assign value to having frames full of brood and honey, but considering honey sells for about $1/oz just one full frame is valued at around $100-$120 if you extract the honey.
We can order and paint a new beehive for you too but that would take a couple weeks. We can sell more hives if you want more, we recommend having at least two hives to more easily balance resources between hives. We also could sell just a colony, however you would need to have a lay es hive to fit the frames.
It is very heavy considering the hive weight and also an estimated $50 lbs of full frames.
For $100 we can move it if you live near Sandy. You would to have a leveled area ready - we have found putting it on four patio stones works well.
Also if you want bees but don’t want to take care of them we would consider setting up a few hives and caring for them and giving you back honey.
