Celebrating Taylor’s 30th anniversary, this Grand Concert guitar came out in 2004, and is #148 of 250. It has a western red cedar top, and the back and sides are tropical American mahogany. It has an ebony fretboard with a pearl and gold 30th anniversary inlay. There is a rosette of abalone surrounding the soundhole, and an abalone-edged top. The slotted headstock overlay is ebony with a pearl inlay on the back. It has a short scale neck design using a different fret spacing and lower string tension and is excellent for finger-style picking. I added a pick guard, and an LR Baggs Active Element pick-up was installed in 2010. Comes with a hard case.
