Built in Japan in 1988, the UX1 is part of Yamaha’s upgraded “X Series” line, featuring their signature full X-back post design for added structural rigidity. That’s the kind of long-term stability I really appreciate as a technician. This piano has been fully refurbished in our shop by our in-house team—action, hammers, keys, regulation, tuning, voicing, everything. It’s playing and sounding fantastic.
At 48" tall, it gives you great string length and a substantial soundboard for rich tone and good dynamic range, especially in the bass. The action is regulated to professional standards—very responsive and consistent across the full keyboard. This piano would be an excellent fit for intermediate to advanced players, or any serious student who needs a long-term, reliable instrument.
