VenmoI am looking to find a more fitting family for my cat, Miles. He is 4 years old and is supposedly a mixed Ragdoll breed. While I can’t confirm that he is a Ragdoll, he certainly carries the typical floppy temperament. Miles is a great cat, absolutely a chill dude; my girls and I just have not connected with him in a way that I would have hoped for. I really do hate to remove him from his home, but I have finally accepted that he deserves a family that can love him affectionately.
Please note that FIT is of the utmost priority for me. If interested in him, I would like to know more about his new potential family and environment. While an overall laid-back cat, Miles does like to be outdoors and roams our neighborhood on a nightly basis. (Yes, even in the winter months…) He will need to go to a family that will allow him this freedom and is preferably located in a safe enough community for him to do so. (Thankfully, our neighbors have become accustomed to his presence.) Miles has grown up with my daughters during their toddler years and he has been incredibly tolerant of their roughness. If he becomes bothered, he can appropriately distance himself or, on rare occasion, will give a warning nip. He is our only pet so I have not seen how he would potentially interact with other animals in the home. I anticipate it would take him a while to adjust if he is going to a family with other pets.
Miles is currently about 13-14 pounds and extremeeeeely fluffy, which is highly typical of his winter habitus. During summer months when he is off roaming most of the day, he drops a ton of weight and his coat thins out. He absolutely needs regular grooming to avoid matting. I typically brush him and then shave down his belly and mane to more manageable lengths. His nails are not clipped for his safety as he spends a significant amount of time outdoors. Miles is micro-chipped, vaccinated, and neutered.
His cost is more to ensure that his next potential family is genuinely interested in him. He will come with any remaining bags of food and litter, scratching posts, as well as his grooming supplies.
As fit is important to me, I am open to holding him or allowing a visit with him beforehand for $20 via Venmo. (Refundable if ultimately decided to not be the right placement.) Please text for inquiries.
