5–6 year old gelding. I’ve had him since August 2023.

He is broke to ride and has been used in a variety of environments including sand, trails, and deadfall timber. He has experience packing animals and carrying saddle panniers. He recently completed 30 days of “cowboy-style” riding.

He is up to date on vaccines and had his teeth floated within the last 4 months.

He is not a finished horse—he’s a solid start that needs consistency and time to reach his full potential. He would do best with an experienced rider to continue his training.

He has never bucked. He can have occasional spookiness—most of the time (99/100) he rides out great, but he may occasionally jump to the side if something surprises him. For example, when a cow stepped out unexpectedly, he spooked and spun but stayed controllable and settled quickly.

He is higher in the pecking order with other horses.

Selling because I’m looking for an older, more finished horse.
