Hi Utah,

My name is JC Pott, owner of Plan-It Excavating. I’ve been in the excavation industry for over 15 years—this is what I grew up doing, and it’s something I take real pride in.

Over the years, I’ve earned both my Engineering and General Contractor licenses, and gained extensive experience operating heavy equipment and managing full-scale projects. I’ve also held superintendent roles for multiple companies before taking the leap to start my own business—a decision that pushed me, but ultimately allowed me to deliver the level of quality I stand behind.

I believe in doing things the right way. I don’t cut corners or underbid just to win jobs—5-star results don’t come from 1-star work.
