Last year's calves are ready for sale. If you need a few to pasture to grow your own beef, then these can't be beat. I have 3 heifers for fattening or breeding. They are Aberdeen (Lowline) Angus crossed with Highland. I've had excellent results fattening and butchering this cross. Aberdeen / Lowline Angus are considered the most efficient breed available and yield the highest meat to waste ratio of any breed. Highlands are known for yielding excellent beef whether you finish on just grass or choose to grain. The cross has proved to be some of the best beef I've raised. No horns to deal with and these are gentle and easy to work. These would also be very nice effort to breed if you're looking to start a small herd of your own to raise your own beef. Sold the steers, but sill have 3 heifers. Lowering the price to $1800.
