Meet Kya please read all before considering As much as it pains me to do this, it’s became a major issue for me and it’s becoming unfair to her. My sweet 5 year old pembroke welsh corgi miniature Australian shepherd mix, needs a new home. I got her when she was 6 weeks old. I got her for my anxiety and eventually got her as a certified ESA. She’s extremely intelligent and loves her people. However she is extremely dog reactive. Once I had my son in 2024, she started struggling worse with being dog reactive and extremely protective of me/my stuff. We have other dogs and it’s been very difficult. She has to stay in a muzzle while out around the other dogs. She still will go after them if they go near my clothes, purse, bags, even bedroom. I’ve tried working with her and making sure her physical and mental needs are met. But things are getting harder and she’s starting to guard things around my toddler too. Other than those issues, Kya is the sweetest girl. She loves toys, fetch, walks, and snuggles. She’s happy to be wherever you are. She LOVES people. I want her to go to a home without ANY pets. As she doesn’t like cats either. She would be great with older children but no kids under 5 and who can understand how dogs should be treated and give her space. But a childfree house would be ideal. Kya knows how to sit, shake, hi five, lay down, leave it, stay, sit pretty, and most basic commands. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and a good girl. She is fully vaccinated and spayed. Although, she is due for her rabies vaccine. Her birthday is November 22, 2020. Serious inquiries only.
