My daughter has the best photos and videos on her phone, but she is reluctant to share because she loves this mare! Ms Fern, Red Fern, Fern & Burn is in need of a new pilot around the barrels. Our daughter had never ridden a barrel pattern in her life, yet was consistently in the 2D money at the CUBRA jackpots. They also laid down some respectable times at the HS rodeos. Fun!!!

Fern needs a calm and confident rider that is soft with their hands and cool in the seat. Our daughter has trained and ridden for many years, just not western. Fern is a FREE RUNNER! Fern is not a kids horse. She is fast and can easily get emotional if you amp her up. She is not a kick ride until the home stretch; she knows her job. She's faster when she is focused. You ride her hot and blow her up and she will blow past every barrel. She prefers to swap leads at the second barrel when you ask her to rate and change bend versus expecting a lead change exiting the first barrel. She has never offer a buck, spook or bolt. She's just fast.

Fern also loves the mountains. She is the best horse this grandma has been on up Payson Canyon. She knows exactly where her feet are and can move out. Grade quater horse about eight years old. She is the boss mare in our herd, but a nice boss compared to our last boss hahaha. Safe and sane. Sweet and gorgeou! About 15-15.1 hh. Ride her bareback in the parking lots. We are her second owners. She was a HS rodeo barrel horse before we got her. She is also barefoot!
