Meet Barley, he is a 6 year old normal morph eastern rat snake that I got from a reptile expo years ago. He is a very curious and adventurous guy. If you have any gap in your enclosure he will find a way to get out. If you’re doing things around his enclosure he sometimes comes out to watch you. He is a bit flighty when you first pick him up but he calms down after being out for a bit. He can also be a bit jumpy if he has been sitting in one place for a bit (like your hand) then you touch him or go to grab him he goes back to being flighty. That can be solved with more handling. Over all he is a very easy keeper. He almost never refuses food. He is not picky.
Because of his flighty nature I think he would be best fit for someone who has some experience with snakes. He would not be good for a kids first snake. He can be sassy at times.
Please reach out to Natalee at 3853354927 if you have any questions.
