Big Hunk is exactly what his name suggests: big personality, big energy, and a whole lot of love. He thrives in a home where he’s surrounded by people and other dogs, and he’s grown very used to having constant companionship and space to run.

Because of that, he’s not a good fit for apartment living. He needs a home with a yard and an active lifestyle to keep him happy and fulfilled. He also can’t be kenneled and does best when he’s not left alone for long periods—definitely not an 8-hour workday. He’s vocal, expressive, and will let you know when he misses you.

Big Hunk would do best with someone who is home often, has other dogs, or is ready to give him the time, attention, and exercise he craves.
