Clean and reliable 1972 Johnson 65HP outboard motor. This classic 2-stroke runs great and is equipped with electronic shift that works flawlessly.
It does have an issue when in the lake and under backpressure it would not get up to full RPM's for us. Could be a fuel or ignition issue.
In the driveway with muffs it runs great!
Recent Maintenance:
New impeller
New fuel pump
New thermostat
Fresh gear oil
This motor has been well cared for and is lake ready for spring and summer with just a couple small fixes. Strong runner, dependable, and a great option for getting out on the water without breaking the bank.
