This is Bonnie! She is around 16 years old, grade mare paint quarter horse. She can go all day and night in the mountains. She’s been camping a bunch and does great. She doesn’t need to be shoed and has hoofs that are strong and sturdy. She is healthy and never had any issues with lameness or colic. Shes great around cattle and has experience rounding them up. Shes a tough horse and great for hard work. She doesn’t have much arena experience. She is best for an experienced rider- someone who knows how to handle some behaviors. Her main flaw is getting in a trailer, she can rear up when she is the first one in, but if you stay patient and work with her she will get in. She gets in no problem with another horse in the trailer. Her other issue is when you ask her to canter she kind of kicks her back feet out. She can become barn sour but the more you work with her on her own she gets over it. Other than that she is a solid horse. Just had a vet check done and she’s healthy and sound.
