Solid wood, but in need of some love (as pictured). One handle is loose, a pane of glass is missing, and another has a small crack, and some of the wood on one of the doors is broken. That said, it is a very solid piece, and can be used as a singular or separate pieces. We installed a clothing bar and used it as a wardrobe.
