I have a hardcover copy of The Arcanum The Extraordinary True Story by Janet Gleeson. It tells the story of someone trying to make gold through alchemy that makes another discovery instead. It has a stamp on the top from being in the library system. It also has some damage inside the covers from removing the protective covers that libraries use over the dust jackets.
