VenmoSince the Blendtec jar Fourside-and-Wildside ones also fit the Alterna Lid (and visa versus), one can use the Alterna Jar Tamper to accelerate blending inside these Blendtec jars, and of course also in any type of Blendtec-aftermarket jars. Yes, the Alterna Jar is an aftermarket creation manufactured right here in Utah / USA with BPA-Free Eastman Tritan Copoloyester materials - the same that Vitamix, Waring, Breville, Hamilton Beach, Blendtec, and many others are using. The tamper purpose is designed to make blending safely possible where you normally now when briefly stuck either add more liquid, or you have ever found yourself shaking the jar back and forth on the blender during blending, or tapping on the walls, to get things going. Because sometimes, in far too many 'variable' situations, the materials are just not ideally placed - it is out of anyone's control, and that is where a tamper comes in very handy, for safety, just for crying out loud that you will never put a fork spoon or knife or your hand into the jar, or ruin your grear on the jar by rocking that jar back and forth. You just leave the tamper sitting in the hole of the lid. That's it. Don't touch it, don't use it for stamping or stirring, just put it in and let the blending go its way.
