Winston is a beautiful seal point/siamese looking cat. He is a neutered male, estimated to be roughly 4yr old. He is up to date in all vaccines. My fiancée and I have known this cat for about two years, he was a stray in a colony that lives around our lane. In January we found him looking very sick and injured, and he appeared to have been outcasted by the colony. We cared for him overnight, then took him in to WCAS when we saw that we wouldn’t be able to help him from home. Once he recovered we brought him in planning to foster to adopt. Unfortunately, his past trauma with the cats outside, along with some territorial behavior from our cat we’ve already had, our apartment just wasn’t a good fit for him. He is the sweetest boy and so handsome, it is heartbreaking to have to say goodbye to him, but we believe being in a household better suited to his needs will give him a better and happier life than with us. We think he would be best suited for a single cat household, or somewhere that could accommodate the time and space he needs to work thru these issues with other cats. Winston is a big lover and very social. He loves to cuddle in bed and has gotten more active in playtime the longer he’s been with us. He would really be a ray of light into anyone’s life. If it’s not too much to ask, we would love to get occasional updates from whoever ends up adopting him. Of course this isn’t a deal breaker, we have just grown very close to him and would love to see that he’s adjusting well to his new home. As I said, we are fostering thru Weber County Animal Services. They require a $55 adoption fee and need to see some form of ID. If you were to adopt him, we would meet you at the shelter and hand him over once you’ve completed the paperwork with them. Please reach out if you have any additional questions :)
