Let me start by saying I love this dog so much!! I have fibromyalgia and cannot take care of him or provide the life he deserves. Westley is a 7 year old purebred black lab who is 73lbs. He is the most loyal friendly laid back dog. He’s neutered and house trained. He’s good with other dogs of all sizes, cats, and small children. He’s truly a family dog! He’s a bit of a couch potato but also loves to go out and be adventurous! He has never really been a chewer but loves bones! He’s a good dog to leave in your house loose while you’re at work and doesn’t cause trouble often. He is also kennel trained and will kennel on command. He doesn’t bark often, if he does bark at someone he’ll bark initially for about 30 seconds and then stair silently while they continue to walk by, sometimes he’s needs a reminder to stop. He’s an overall good listener although he will not listen to commands outside. He knows the commands sit, stay, and lay down and will respond to just hand commands too inside. He’s a runner if not on a leash and not leash trained although he is an eager learner!! He’s very motivated and excited to learn new things and takes to training well. He only had 3 accidents in the house as a puppy and pretty much potty trained himself. I named him Westley after the Princess Bride, because I feel like his eyes always scream “As you wish.” He just wants to be loved and is willing to do anything to be so. A $30 rehoming fee to ensure he’s goes home with someone serious about taking care of him.
