Meet Rexie — She’s Looking for Her Perfect Match Rexie is about 8 months old (DOB 8/17/25) and looking for a fresh start with a family who gets her.

She came back to us after some behavioral challenges in her previous home. Rexie left us well-socialized at 8 weeks— but that work wasn’t continued after she was placed, and she became fearful of the world. The good news is she’s not starting from zero. She remembers how to trust, she just needs a home that will keep showing her the world consistently.

Since she’s been back with us, we’ve made real progress, and we know her well now. She is goofy, cuddly, and loving.

(Rexie is short for T-Rex — her new family is absolutely welcome to give her a fresh name to go with her fresh start.)

Here’s who she is:

She wants to be on you or right next to you. She holds toys when she gets excited. She loves water. She sleeps in her crate, walks well on a leash, and is very treat motivated. And once she decides she trusts you, she is all in.

New people and new dogs make her nervous — her version of scared is backing up and watching from a distance, not aggression. She has four dog buddies she adores and has made real progress with new introductions.

She has separation anxiety that’s still being worked on. She’ll bark at unfamiliar dogs.

She needs a home with:

• A confident, calm human who can be her anchor

• Another dog — she genuinely thrives with a buddy

• Patience and consistency

• Someone who actually wants to train her
