Jasper- aka Cool Dressed Cowboy is a 2022 gelding. He is by Cowboys R Cool out of Dressed in Black. He is a registered Appaloosa with no spots. Papers and transfer report are in hand! Roughly 14.3 hands- will tape later this week for exact height.

No performance permit was obtained for Jasper hence why he has not be shown in ApHc sponsored events. Performance Permit is obtainable for Jasper- Permit application is on the ApHc website. We are happy to assist in filling out the form if wanted/needed.

Jasper has been in training with Rock'n Bar F Horsemanship for 120 days to get started under saddle. He has shown a lot of promise to be used in Ranch versaility or pleasure disciplines. Jasper has natural cadence that would stand out in the show pen once refined with training.

He walk, trots and lopes each direction. He leads nicely, will come up to you in the pasture and wants to be your best friend. He stands for the farrier, loads and unloads in any size trailer and respects your space. He is currently barefoot and doesn't need shoes. He has has no health problems. He had his teeth done this spring and has been de-wormed.

He would be best suited for an intermediate to advanced rider at this time. He is being sold as green. He lacks a bit of confidence while riding, but that will just take time while under saddle. Jasper can be a bully in the pasture with horses that are lower ranking. I haven't had any issues with him around my other horses, but he can be mean towards others.

Jasper leaves training with Rock'n Bar F Horsemanship at the end of the month. At that time I will start western pleasure training. Get him now before his price increases with additional training.

Jaspers half brother Brave has qualified for the ApHc world show, earned his merit in halter, and continues to show exceedingly well in the Halter, Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Ranch Rail Pleasure, English Pleasure, Horsemanship, ect.
