Great project bike for someone that’s into that kind of thing. I got this bike from my brother in law last December because he couldn’t get it to run. I thought that I would try but I haven’t been able to get it to run either.
I’ve cleaned the carburetor out super good and replaced a lot of parts but I’ve not had any progress so far. The bike is in a little bit of rough shape but I bet that someone who is willing to put more effort and time into it, could get it up and running soon. It leaks oil and some past owner wired the starting weird to where the start button doesn’t start the bike but pulling the brake does instead.
The only other problem besides those is that it just doesn’t actually start. It will attempt to start and you can hear it firing but you can only attempt to start it so many times until the battery dies and then you have to recharge it again. It just won’t go and I don’t want to deal with it anymore.
Asking 2,000 because I’ve spent at least 1,000 on parts, when I got a quote from Karl Malone power sports they said that the worth of the bike is $100-$500, and I’m trying to save up for college.
I’m also selling the parts that I took pictures of with the bike. So the blinkers, the passenger seat bar, the triangle seat that doesn’t fit on the bike, and then the seat I purchased, and haven’t used, that I put back in the packaging it came in, which is in the brown box. All these parts are included in the price.
If you don’t want the parts and just the bike than you can just take them for free and use them for something else. If I keep them I’m just going to be getting rid of them, so I have no need for them.
Here are the parts that I have replaced on the bike:
I’m happy to work something out so just give me a message and we can chat about it!
