VenmoWe’re looking to rehome our puppy Albert in hopes of finding him the home that fits him best
Albert is a 4-month-old Shiba Inu / Border Collie–Poodle mix looking for a calm, adult-focused home where he can really thrive.
He’s a gentle, quiet, and intelligent puppy. Albert is naturally independent and does well on his own, but he also forms a strong bond with his person and enjoys being nearby—whether that’s playing, going for walks, or just relaxing together. For the right home, he’s a relatively low-maintenance companion who settles nicely after exercise.
Albert is: • Crate trained • House trained • Food motivated and eager to learn (already knows several commands) • Enjoys walks and tug-of-war
He does best in a predictable, low-chaos environment and would be a great fit for a single person, couple, or home with older teens. He’s not suited for homes with young children.
We want to be upfront that this wasn’t an easy decision. We’ve spent the past several weeks working with him and trying different approaches, and while he does great with adults, he’s not comfortable in a home with young kids. We really care about him and would keep him if it were the right fit, but we believe rehoming him now—while he’s still young and adaptable—will give him the best chance to thrive.
Albert has shown positive signs with other dogs and, with consistency, has all the potential to grow into an incredibly loyal and well-mannered companion.
He will likely be medium-sized (around 30–40 lbs) and is up to date on vaccines.
We’re just hoping to find the best possible home for him ️ Please reach out if you feel like your home might be a good fit.
