ZelleI got this candy dish from my aunt when she died. I call it a candy dish because that is what I always saw in it. I always loved the Violet/Purple color to it. I have been told that the color comes from exposure to the sun. Why someone would have a candy dish out in the sun I don’t know. I don’t know exactly how old it is, but I have been told that this type of glass started in the 1920’s. So it is definitely not new!
It is approx. 5.75” in diameter, and 3” high.
