Linda is an 11 year old grade mare standing just under 14 hands. She has been a ranch horse for several years and is fearless on the trail. She knows how to work cattle and loves her job. She is not a beginner horse as she was extremely spoiled when I got her and she will take advantage of an inexperienced rider. She is easy to catch (even in a large pasture) and easy to groom and tack. She is showing signs of naviular but has done quite well with an annual osphos shot and bute when ridden. She is a very bright horse and could easily learn tricks. She gets along well with the other horses (is in the middle of the herd), does not buck or bite (but she has been given treats in the past and is always looking for them). She is extremely responsive to a riders use of their seat. Because of her early training, she is not terribly soft in the mouth but responds well to a rider with good hands. I have ridden this horse many miles and hate to part with her but I don't think she can handle the rough country I ride in now. I am most interested if finding a good home for her so the price is very negotiable to the right home. please call or text for more information.
