VenmoRainey is a 15 year old grade paint mare. She is a tough, hardy mare who enjoys having a job and truly shines out on the trail. She prefers being out in the mountains over arena work and is a confident, steady partner whether riding alone or in a group.
She is incredibly quiet and has been safely ridden by complete beginners and family members with no riding experience. Rainey is very trustworthy just point her in the direction you want to go and she’ll take care of the rest without fuss. She has a big, comfortable walk and handles varied terrain with ease.
While she hasn’t been asked to do much flexion or softening work, she is willing and could easily learn with consistent training. At this time, she is slightly avoidant of the bit and can feel a bit stiff or rusty in her contact. Her teeth have been floated, and she has been cleared by a veterinarian for work this appears to be more training-related than medical.
She has primarily been used as a trail horse, so arena work is not her preference, but she will do what is asked of her.
Located in Benjamin, please message with offer and time you would like to come see her. If the ad is up she is available.
