Duke is a 3 year old male, 30 pound German shorthair/Austrailian shepherd mix. He is incredibly intelligent and responsive and already has a solid training foundation. He needs a patient, loving, stable home. Due to an unstable last year he is a little anxious and will retreat to his kennel (his safe place) when overwhelmed. He would do best in a home without small children. Once he feels safe, he bonds closely and just needs patience and consistency.

He loves being outside - hiking, running, exploring, chasing a ball and going on adventures.

Duke is extremely loyal and loving to his person/family.
