Meet Brandi, our stocky little pack mule. She's 13 1/2hh and stocky. Easy height to load a pack saddle and will carry a heavy load all day long in the roughest country. She's a sweetheart, loves attention and not hard to catch once she gets to know you. She loads in a trailer just fine and stands for the farrier. Crosses obstacles, creeks, etc. without issue. She's also broke to ride although she's nervous with a rider, is quick and can spook so I wouldn't recommend using her for that unless you're an expert rider and are willing to put the training time in to make her safe under saddle. She's also a little ear shy but not unmanageably so. Given that she's being sold as a pack mule only and that's reflected in the price. For that job, you'd have a hard time finding a better mule.
