For sale is a beautiful, fully functional Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph, Model W-19. This is the desirable William & Mary style upright cabinet with ornate carved grille, turned legs, and rich dark wood finish. Made by Thomas A. Edison, Inc. in Orange, NJ – a true piece of American music history from the early 1920s. Key Features & Condition: Plays beautifully with very loud, clear sound through the large internal horn. Hand-cranked with smooth-running two-spring motor. Original Edison Diamond Disc reproducer and tonearm. Green felt turntable. Solid cabinet with good structural integrity, nice original patina, intact decorative grille, and hardware. Note: Missing the original volume control muffler/shutter (the lever and felt ball mechanism that goes inside the horn to quiet the sound). It plays at full volume, which is impressively loud! Records Available: I have a selection of original Edison Diamond Disc records available to the buyer at $5–$10 each (depending on condition/title). Great starters for this machine! This machine is ready to enjoy right away — just wind it up and play. It's a fantastic display piece or everyday player for collectors and vintage music lovers. Local pickup only (it's large and heavy).
