I work for an Apple Company and I learned very early on that tech, all tech is incremental…..Meaning there’s no profit for companies to make a model that blows last years model out of the water. Nobody would need to upgrade so frequently if that were the case.

Next model will be a little faster/SSD booting up, More SOC, ( System In A Chip ) which is what the M series is entirely about. More CPU & GPU Cores, more RAN will definitely speed up rendering times, but by how much? Not a lot considering they only add typically 1 or 2 CPU Cores, and as far as GPU Cores go, you can get a pretty hefty amount, it that’s for serious editors that do production work. Ram definitely make a difference, however I’ve had several cheese graters with 128gb and 256gb of Ram via Opencore, the difference was hardly even noticeable.
