I have a Fridgidaire Refrigerator/Freezer for sale. I purchased it from Facebook Marketplace a couple months ago. The guy who sold it to me did no as having no missing or broken parts. He Lied....He literally removed parts and hid it.

The freezer side works well but the refrigerator side is inconsistent. Come to find out the Facebook Seller lied and he had removed the inside cover (so it was not visible without removing screws and the cover), and underneath he removed the temp probes s and the damper fan motor assembly that blows the cold air from the freezer into the refrigerator. He put blue painters tape across the bottom part of the remaining hole to allow cold air to pass from the freezer to the refrigerator portion. Scammed to be sure!

The refrigerator will NEVER have a properly managed and consistent temperature with this "tape fix". To purchase all the missing parts would be a more than $200. It is probably fine if you are wanting to keep water or soda somewhat cold in the garage but nothing with required stable refrigerator temperatures for food safety.

I hate to throw it away if someone needs it because the freezer side is working and it can be used in a garage to keep water cooler.
