I have a vintage 12 Karat gold dome ring with 61 small round sapphires. It was made by Hardwick Jewelers in Salt Lake City and is in the original box. I’m not sure of the age but Hardwick Jewelers began business in the early 1970s so after that. It is a size 6 1/2. It weighs 8.41 grams. The inside of the band is marked 12K. I took it to my jeweler to get an idea of the value. He said to make the same ring now would cost about $4000, but when looking at it with a jeweler’s loupe he said these sapphires are a little rough.
