VenmoVogue 10" Picture Disc Vinyl-#R774 -Sonny Dunham Orchestra-Save Me A Dream & Desert Fantasy
This is a rare Vogue Picture Record, specifically catalog number R774, which features the song "Save Me A Dream" on one side and “Desert Fantasy” on the other, both performed by The Sonny Dunham Orchestra. It is used and has scratches and wear from age and use on both sides. I played it recently to see how it played. On the “Save Me A Dream” side it has a good amount of static but still plays well. The other side plays similarly and maybe a little better. I was surprised how well it played! It didn’t come in a sleeve so I put it in a rice paper inner sleeve and then a blank cardboard sleeve to keep it protected and so it will remain in this condition until it is sent to you. There are pictures of both. Because of its rarity and its age it is a really cool collectors item and pretty valuable.
-Manufacturer: Produced by Sav-Way Industries in Detroit, Michigan, in the 1940’s. It is a Tom Saffady Peoduct -Construction: The record is made by sandwiching printed artwork between an aluminum core and a clear vinyl coating. -Collectibility: These are highly prized vintage items known for their colorful illustrations and high-quality sound for their era.Highly sought after by record collectors for its visual artwork rather than just musical content.
Let me know if you have any questions. I’m a collector myself so I treat all the albums as if they are my own! Also, I’m not someone who is going to keep lowering and lowering the price, so if you’re interested just make me an offer! I am very open to reasonable offers so message me! Not open to trades telling! Thanks!
