Selling my James Baroud Grand Raid XL rooftop tent, one of the best premium hard-shell rooftop tents available. This is the larger XL model with a roomy interior, true quick setup, excellent ventilation, and the durability James Baroud tents are known for.

The top shell has been professionally Raptor-lined within the last year, giving it a tougher, more rugged finish than the standard factory shell. It looks great and adds extra protection against weather, branches, UV, and normal trail use.

The tent is in excellent working condition overall.

Everything functions as it should:

• Opens and closes smoothly

• Gas struts are strong and hold solid

• Fabric, mesh, windows, and zippers are all in great shape

• Structure is tight with no known issues

• No tears, no major damage, no structural problems

The roof fan is not currently running, but I am including a brand-new replacement fan with the tent.

There is a small leak at the top, likely from one of the upper tie-down points. It does not appear during light rain, but it showed up during heavier weather. It should be a straightforward sealant fix.

The mattress liner has a couple of small tears. It is basically a removable sheet-style cover and can be replaced easily. We have simply used a queen-size fitted sheet over it.

The included James Baroud awning, ladder, and Front Runner mounting hardware add real value and give the buyer more flexibility depending on their rack setup.

This is a high-end overland tent, not a budget rooftop tent. New Grand Raid XL setups are around $5,000 before tax, shipping, mounting hardware, or accessories. This is a great way to get into a premium James Baroud setup for much less.
