My father loaded a total of 500 identical rounds of the shown (see sheet) 85 Grain Sierra SP bullets, using 42.5 grains of 4831 Powder, for my brother's .243 which LOVED this load! These were the load reloads that he did before he stopped reloading.
My brother shot over 60% of these loads, mostly at the range but took 3 deer with them as well, so that is why there is only 176 live rounds left; along with 18 empty cases from the last time he went shooting before health issues arose.
I sold the rifle that these were shot from about 8 months ago, but only opened the box of this remaining ammo over the weekend.
Our father was an expert/master reloader. He was the California Cast Bullet Champion in 1982 and 1984 before he gave up competition shooting and stayed with recreational shooting. So, he knew how to reload ammo properly, consistently, and the resultant accuracy up to 600 meters proved it.
Factory ammo runs just about a $1.00/round; so my asking price of $65.00 TOTAL FOR ALL 176 LIVE ROUNDS (AND 18 SPARE CASES) IS A VERY GOOD DEAL AT ABOUT $0.33 CENTS/ROUND.
If interested, please call or text Randy @ 801-830-7556.
