I've had this for about 8 years. Works well. The bar that comes down on the bikes locks. It also locks onto the receiver hitch. Tilts away from car so you can access back of car easily. I'll throw in the extra hitch adapter too. You may not need it. Fits a 2 inch hitch receiver.
