This is a rare A model Kenworth ext hood. It has a 3406B CAT motor with retarder AND jakes, 200k on overhaul according to previous owner. I have paperwork on the overhaul but the shop did not write the truck vin or the odometer on the invoice. RTLO 18913A transmission. Updated frame cut off has been added with a 4 bag AG400L suspension and 3.70 gears. Wheelbase is 260”. Tires are lp22.5 on all aluminum rims. Drives are hub piloted wheels and steers are budd. The previous owner put a big hole kit on it so it has a peterbilt style unibilt sleeper opening. The cab has a cab mate air ride system. The sleeper is solid mount. The sleeper is in good condition except for the passenger side fairing needs some attention. For full asking price, I am willing to include in the sale 1 of the following 4 options ( not including installation). A- a 60 inch Kenworth Aerodyne 1 double bunksleeper B- a stock 60” A model flat topsleeper ( will need interior) outershell is good. C- choice of a 36”, 42”,or 60” Kenworth B Model sleeper each with intact interior or D- a 36” Peterbilt Unibilt sleeper that will need a panel repaired on passenger side. The Kenworth Sleepers would all have to be cut to match the big hole but the Peterbilt sleeper has a unibilt opening. Truck runs and drives. Paint not great but serviceable. One air breather has a rusted bottom tray.
